0. The Fool

Water waves to Earth, happily spotting her at the top of her cliff.

Keywords: benignity; innocence; not seeing what lies ahead beyond the horizon—and so, hopeful; adventurous; carefree; knowing no fear or concern.

-What do I know I don’t know about this situation, such that I can give it the benefit of the doubt?
-Who am I happy to trust?
-Where would it be most helpful for me to release negative perceptions, so that I can feel light within?

I. The Magician

Air deftly juggles and manipulates artifacts of the others’ elements around her: sand, water, and rocks imbued with Fire’s lava-veins.

Keywords: adaptability; resourcefulness; mastery in handling various modes; understanding multiple ways to perceive, process, and utilize things.

-What do I know I have the dexterity to manage?
-How can I adapt to the complexity of my situation, and still achieve what I’m striving for?
-What skills can I use to my advantage in this situation with varying, conflicting aspects?

II. The Ethereal Feminine

Shua and Sica glide along side by side; Shua creating colors in the sky with her spark, and Sica reflecting them from below.

Keywords: *feeling* the world around oneself from within; feeling and being in one’s own energies; taking in others’ emotions, vibes and colors, and trusting that awareness.

Air and Earth pause from gathering stone slabs, and instead dance and make music together.

Keywords: experiencing the essence of physical and mental sensation; enjoying the sounds, sights, smells, tastes, and other physical things that make up life.

-What do I see is telling me I have to oblige to work, goals, others’ expectations, etc., and where instead can I prioritize filling my own personal energy-tank first?

IV. The Tangible Masculine

Cob and Annah work side by side: Cob gathering raw material for his figurines, and Annah studying quantities by using Cob’s discs.

Keywords: taking action with the materials at hand; applying oneself to mental and physical labor; dryly, calmly striving for measurable output and order with the material world.

-What logical, practical steps can I take to do what I want to get done?
-What “is a rock is a rock is a rock” in front of me, such that I do not need to see anything deeper about it in order to take action?
– What am I working on that I see is no fuss required: just calm, cool reasoning, and steady application?

Keywords: the essence of the inner energy that drives oneself; the will and emotions behind one’s conscious behavior; energetically *charging* oneself to take impassioned action.

VI. The Lovers

Cob and Earth see each other through a delta portal, as Cob approaches Sica in her cove with a figurine in his hand. The world’s moon reflects from behind in the waterfall that cascades before the cove’s entrance.

Keywords: our connections between ourselves and others; *links* themselves; the parallels which bind us.

Optional guiding questions:

-Who or what do I currently see a *link* to?
-What parallels do others show me?
-What ties us in this situation, despite all odds?

VII. The Chariot

Fire determinedly burns through stacked slab stones in order to grow taller, as Earth holds the slabs in place for him from behind.

Keywords: personal willpower and drive; steady determination; doggedly pursuing your goals; with a little help from others, working to get to your desired destination.

-What do I want to achieve, and how can I get to working on it right now?
-What can I put out of my mind, so that I can focus on achieving what I want?
-Who (or what) has let me know their things are not my concern, and so it’s okay for me to focus on what *I* want to do?

VIII. Strength

Earth marches up Fire’s mountain, braving the heat of his lava-veins while carrying a mass of stone slabs in her arms for him as she ascends.

Keywords: capability; grace, resilience, persistence, and dedication under pressure and known burdens.

-What credit do I give to myself in this very difficult challenge?
-What can I choose to do, despite the difficulties, in order to give what I’m capable of to those who I know are in need?
-What bearings of mine can I acknowledge, such that I can manage through this situation?

IX. The Hermit

Annah flies solo over the vast spread of Sica’s domain. There, he sees a delta portal brightly shining in the sky: it shows a different world within and casts a light on the watery surface below.

Keywords: finding knowledge by seeking it alone; learning from a guiding light separate from others.

-What do I see I can acquire only by flying solo in this situation?
-What do I know I know for myself, if by a source of knowledge that differs from the one others are viewing?
-In this situation, where can I be comfortable with going away from the crowd, in order to see what is?

X. Wheel of Fortune

Cob and Shua watch Cob’s figurines proceed in a circle and behave individually, powered by Shua’s spark. Shua points out one of the figurines to Cob as it breaks a spindly leg while walking.

Keywords: events that happen beyond our control; all that can occur in life–that we must simply allow, see, and learn from, in order to better understand what to do next.

-What do I see is not in my control about this situation?
-What do I accept I have given to the situation, such that now I can only allow things to ensue as they will?

XI. Justice

Annah “sits” atop one of the tall stacks at the bottom of his domain, measuring numbers of stone discs between his left and his right. He tosses out the odd-tallied disc between the sides.

Keywords: the conscious act to bring balance into being; equality; measuring fairness with objectivity and logic; lawfulness.

-What do I see is the plain, objective truth about this situation?
-What do I see is not in balance about this situation?
-What do I understand is fair, lawful, equitable, balanced, and impartial, that I seek to uphold?

XII. The Hanged Man

Annah passes a delta portal and the world’s moon while transporting the eight stone discs he has measuredturning away from a third unseen light source.

Keywords: redirection; pausing and/or being paused in one’s trajectory, in order to see a different light.

-What am I doing, seeing, or thinking that now, I need to change? (Especially because I understand it was based on a mistaken impression?)
-Upon reflection, what do I see is a better way to get where I’m going?
-If there are MANY possible paths I see before me, what can I rule out as not a route for me to pursue, thus saving me time and energy?

XIII. Death

Air sees below her smaller fruit-bearing plants surrounding a larger decaying corpse, as she flies towards Water’s domain.

Keywords: endings; the beginning of something new, made possible only by the end of what came before it.

-What has ended for me, and what do I see is it survived by? (e.g. loved ones, thoughts, goals, feelings, intentions, paths)
-What do I feel is most significant to reflect upon, given what I understand is a death in my life?
-What do I understand I can only acknowledge and accept: neither alter nor interact with any further as I keep on?

XIV. Temperance

A delta portal opens, revealing one world’s sun paralleling the other world’s moon.

Keywords: the state of balance itself— in particular, between opposing, polar energies; moderating one’s approach in order to achieve energetic balance.

-Where I might normally lean towards one mode of action, what opposite mode can I balance it with right now?
-What do I recognize is fully balanced within me right now?
-What kind of energy can complement me in this situation?

Interrupted, a delta portal dissipates.

Keywords: imbalance; disorder; falling out of alignment with harmony.

-If I am aware of any obstructions present, what can I bare to observe about them in order to start clearing them away?

Air zooms around Water, freezing his body from the bottom up.

Keywords: abrupt change that dismantles mistaken beliefs; realizing the false foundation upon which we built our dreams, goals, or intentions.

XVII. The Star

Shua floats in midair and imbues her animating spark into two of Cob’s newest, redesigned figurines. As she happily powers them, light appears in the positions of their eyes and hearts.

Keywords: being imbued with one’s own inner purpose and light; bringing out your gift to the world that is your truest passion; the act of happily giving your radiance in order to power up another.

Optional guiding questions:

-What is *my star* in this world– that which makes me feel purposeful, energized, fulfilled, and certain of what I’m meant to do– and how can I work on it?
-What am I happy to give to others?
-What are others’ *stars* that I see in them?

XVIII: The Moon

Sica looks up at the world’s moon, giant and silvery before her—solitary in her domain, and reflecting.

Keywords: Inner reflection; intuition; feminine resources; understanding one’s inner feelings; receiving insight by letting it come to you rather than actively seeking it; *knowing* in a way you just feel from within.

-What do I *feel* about this situation, deep down, if I quiet down every outer source that thinks of what it ought to be?

Fire bursts happily and freely– fully grown from his cave– basking under the world’s sun in the open skies, and spreading his flames.

Keywords: Inner confidence—particularly born from knowing exactly who you are and what your truth is; masculine resources; conscious awareness that comes from seeing clearly what’s in front of you, as if illuminated by the sun’s light.

-Who am I happy to be genial with, because I am happy and confident in myself?

XX: Judgement

Water sees through one eye Fire’s flames hit Earth, his body partially thawing.

Keywords: Evaluating based on the factors one can see; the critical moment of one’s perspective on the matter, before a choice is made.

-What do I make of this situation, based solely on what I can see? (Because I cannot see everything to it?)
-How can I most productively respond if what I see before me is the only awareness I get to have?
-What do I recognize is up to me to decide, claim, own, and/or reject?

Cob smiles at his completed creations: the latest figurines he has carved, honed, and polished with the heat from Shua’s nearby lava-veins. Outside his cave are the visible domains of Sica and Annah as well.

Keywords: completion; success; proudly surveying what one has achieved after hard work; a benefit to the world at large through a major achievement; the gathering of all four elements in one space.

-What major endeavor have I recently achieved that I both recognize and am proud of?
